"Calendar, tika, painted on cloth, representing the 210 days of the Balinese wuku cycle. Bright yellow background. The upper half of the painting is divided into thirty columns of nine rows, the top row each containing the same four-petalled decorative motif. Each of the next seven rows represents one day of the week. These sqaures contain symbols which indicate whether the day is auspicious or inauspicious for a particular activity. The lower half of the painting is dominated by two opposing naga figures, with a figure of Siwa with fly whisk and rosary between them. Between these figures and the grid above is a key to the symbols contained in the grid. "
