The informationcontained in this book actually flies in the face of known anddocumented information. There are rampant and incorrect attributions ofTango pieces to Loetz and also Michael Powolny. It is well known thatPowolny designed a handful of Tango pieces for Loetz, yet this bookincorrectly attributes many pieces to both Loetz and also to Powolny.Powolny designs are well documented and easily identifiable.

Additionallythe book invents a manufacturing company named "Loetz Kralik", implyingthat the companies are one and the same. This has contributed to therampant attribution of many pieces of Tango  glass on Ebay to bothLoetz Kralik and also to Powolny, and cite the book as the attributionreference.

The glass pictured in the book is represented asbeing part of the collection in "Het Haags Glasmuseum.  Den Haags ND" Many serious attempts at locating and verifying both the museum andthe collection have failed.

If you must buy this book, buy itfor the pictures only, if what you would like is a nice selection ofTango Glass images.  The photography is actually well done.

Atthe time of writing it appears that the website promoting this book hasbeen taken down, as I was unable to locate it any longer.

Forthe sake of accuracy do not take the text in this book seriously. Ithas done serious damage by helping to perpetuate the internet myth thatall two colored (or close) Czech glass is Tango, that all Tango glassis Loetz (pr now Loetz Kralik), and that all Loetz (Loetz Kralik) Tangowas designed by Powolny.

+1 Ce vase n'a jamais vu Powolny, ni Loetz mais c'est une production de qualité quand même (et pas parce que j'ai le même   )... confirmé par les sites mentionnés plus haut....je suis tombé sur le même info et pas de réponse du musée. À identifier
